The Loop was a project by Lancaster LGBTQ+ Coalition to provide a combination Queer-affirming co-working space, affirming housing environment, affirmative medical clinic, and LGBTQ+ community center in the heart of Downtown Lancaster City, PA.
I was responsible for branding (which won a Health + Wellness Design Award from GDUSA!), systems design and implementation, pre-visualization, and interior design for the space. I created an environment which was inviting (like a shared living room) while remaining professional (like a medical clinic).
The Loop opened June 5, 2022, and helped Lancaster’s Queer community access connection, housing, healthcare, and more until its closure in early 2024.
