Pareidolia is the tendency to recognize patterns — often faces — in otherwise ambiguous visual information. Here, this tendency is used as a tool to help the product catch a viewers’ eye.

Information about each product and its primary selling point is included on both the front panel and the side panel. This accounts for any variance in shelving method, as the product label and information are visible from any side.
